The Department of Home Affairs requires all applicants for a South African Temporary Visa exceeding 3 months to submit an independent Medical Report and a Radiological report including a chest X-ray to check for tuberculosis.

What to bring: A valid form of ID (passport or ID card). The examination takes 10–15 minutes and the report is valid for 6 months. Pregnant patients cannot undergo chest X-rays.

SA-CAA Compliant 60-Min Report

We adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Manual of Civil Aviation Medicine. Our reports are designed to assist the Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) in making an informed fitness-to-fly assessment.

SA-CAA Medical Certification Classes

Class I — Commercial Pilots
Valid 12 months if under 40. Instrument-rated & airline pilots.
Class II — Private & Student Pilots
Valid 5 years if under 40. Aeroplanes & helicopters.
Class III — ATC & Drone Pilots
Valid 4 years if under 40. Air traffic controllers & RPL holders.
Class IV — Cabin Crew & Glider Pilots
Valid 60 months if under 40. Flight attendants, microlight & balloon pilots.

Road Accident Fund (RAF)

Flat Rate Per Region

High-resolution X-ray imaging to support your Road Accident Fund claim. Our detailed reports provide objective evidence of the extent and severity of injuries sustained in a road accident.

Plaintiffs

Flat rate per region. Only a referral letter from the examining doctor or orthopaedic surgeon required.

Defendants

Provide a referral letter from the examining doctor and an instruction letter from the attorneys.
